fwiw, camu has proven awesome as a replacement for the stock sony camera software, especially if you want to use your phone point and shoot-style.

I have the OPO, but I noticed most people here are saying they use stock camera so I thought I'd suggest Camu. Just recently switched to it because I was having trouble with stock camera on the OPO. It's pretty simplistic but has some fun filters and such. Google Play
