It's really hard for us indie devs to get noticed amongst the big game companies. I think a lot of indie devs make games out of pure interest but find it really hard to surface which is pretty demotivational. I really hope things get better for indie devs. People simply playing my games means so much to me, but it's very hard to get noticed.
EDIT: May I suggest my physics puzzle platformer game "Circle in a Circle"? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.applegloss.circlephysics
If you are into games like Badland, Freeze and World of Goo I think you'll like this.
Hey. I released a physics puzzle platformer game like Badland, Freeze! and World of Goo.
It's called Circle in a Circle: 2D Puzzler. If you like that niche please check it out: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.applegloss.circlephysics And here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kN12r-MGvCQ
I would really like some feedback and advice on it. It's pretty minimalistic and technically pretty simple, but I feel free to ask me anything about it.
It's just about rolling around a ball inside a circular cavity to collect rings as the outer circle expands. It keeps getting harder as the levels progress.
