Check the reviews: 933 reviews averaging at 1.6/5*. So not only my issue. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tfgm.getmethere I've complained like the others but Metrolink doesn't care.
To be fair, some companies can do it right: Trainline app works perfectly and i always use the mobile tickets there.

I've got the other one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tfgm.getmethere installed on a rooted android. The app only does tickets though.
