I finished a game this week.
For me it's a bit of a big deal. I think of myself as a game developer, but hadn't released anything in quite a while. A combination of Depression, Arthritis, Parenting, Earthquake, and Potential Blindness got in the way.
So here it is. $0.99 on the Android Play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sds.potato and a free to play Flash version at http://fingswotidun.com/Potato
It's been on the Play store for a day or two and This morning I get a notification Email.
"Potato is at # 482 in [Top New Paid] in Armenia"
That is most assuredly a qualified success.
This week I published my first Android Game. It started out as a Ludum Dare 48 hour game, and I developed it into a full release after quite a few people said it was fun enough for them to pay.

It's a $0.99 puzzle game where you have to figure out the rules as you go.
I'm quite proud of the deviousness of some of the later levels.
I don't want to give away too many details about the game in the Store listing because that would spoil the discovery aspect of the game. Instead I have a Flash version of the same game at http://fingswotidun.com/Potato
I'm thinking about putting a video on the Play Store page showing people Playing the game without the screen being visible. Those that have played the game get quite animated after a short time.
Free Flash/desktop version at http://fingswotidun.com/Potato/

Made in Haxe so Theoretically I could build a iOs version but I don't have the dev setup for iOs.
This is my Puzzle game. PM if you want a key

Hey I posted about Potato here a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd give an update.
The model of having a Free to Play flash version http://fingswotidun.com/Potato/ seems to be working well.
I was not expecting to see this http://i.imgur.com/z8e8waX.png
Reviews have been positive. I got my first 3 star review yesterday. Still awaiting the dreaded 1-star
Every day I expect the graph to take a dive, but it hasn't yet. I've sold about 350 copies, which pleases me no-end but I'm quite surprised that that is enough to occasionally appear in the Top-Paid spots.
Feedback has been mixed on the concept of going in blind. Some people think it adds to the game some people think it would be better showing the game up-front.
Potato - A puzzle game with no instructions that starts with a blank screen.
