As a jumper who's done plenty of jumps out of a 182 there's definitely wind when the door opens, but it isn't crazy. If you Velcro the Stratux down you shouldn't have a problem.
As for seatbelts, you're the pilot and you know the rules. Before you start taxiing look back and ask everyone if they have their seatbelts on. If you get a no or a blank look, refuse to move the plane until the seatbelts go on. There is no excuse for seatbelts in a 182 since there's only 4 jumpers.
As you're a new pilot w/o any diver driver experience, I'd recommend talking to the meat missiles you're flying. You'll quickly find out what they like and what they don't like. I've seen a couple of apps that pull winds aloft data and provides you with spotting (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.livewings.spotassist&hl=en).
