I have a Moto G 2014 and I can use a webcam through OTG cable on my phone using UsbWebCamera app.

I bought the exact same thing. It works with my laptop but doesn't work with my android phone. This is supposed to be the official app as given on the box – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.serenegiant.usbwebcamera
