From what I see and to take note of (first impressions):
The good:
- One-off purchase, unlike the many others that charge subscription
- Files are encrypted before hiding in a .vl folder. Some others I tried simply moved the files to a hidden folder without encryption.
- Free version has 5-10 million downloads, 4.3 rating (126k+ raters) - not too shabby
The bad:
- Offline storage only (no cloud backup) (can be good or bad?) - many of the bad reviews seem to be people who don't realize that?
- UI a bit funky, but not a big issue to me
Anybody tried the Pro version before? I'm trying the free version now, so far it looks good, but I'll give it 1-2 more days. Hope the deal lasts long enough.
