We can use these as a workaround until Nest gets it’s act together. I bought these to cover the LED lights on my car’s dashcam for a more stealth look. They work well without ruining the aesthetic of your machine/device.

I suggest these bad boys! Amazon linky You can get full blackout or ones that block 50-80% of the light if you still want to see the indicator light. I drop them on everything and it has been quite nice :)

Like everyone else said, don't store stuff in your case. If you really want to prop the GPU up to prevent sag then buy a GPU holder on Amazon, I even found you the link to one https://www.amazon.com/MasterAccessory-Universal-VGA-Holder-MCA-0005-KUH00/dp/B01IQCBKOI. MSI makes one as well

my only question is, where did you buy the mount for the GPU? Not the PCI Extension cable, the part where it mounts the case.

Ryzen 5 2600x, MSI 1060 6gb, gskill 16gb @3200. Going to get a new desk when i move in to a new place in a year or so. Yes it's a s340 case, I used a cool master gpu mount kit I found on Amazon, just had to cut a few metal bars on the back of the case.

People give Hue shit for being so expensive but it also has the most compatibility with other ecosystems and widest range of accessories. Personally, I love the Lutron Aurora Dimmer for my Hue bulbs. It easily installs over a standard US light switch and makes for a great dimmer. Battery lasts a long time too.
I'm no expert but my plants love this bulb. Has a natural looking light and is just a standard bulb size for any lamp.

I'd suggest skipping the Mars 300w and saving your money to invest in a Quantum Board LED kit, these 100w kits are $150 on Amazon.
The LED tech in those Mars LEDs are outdated, the Mars 300 would be equivalent to about <~140w draw while outputting 150w HID, whereas this QB kit is closer to true 200w HID output at 96w draw. Compare the QB's lumen output of 15,000+ to the Mars' < 5,000.

Otherwise DIY with Lego/Funko Pop/Generic plastic figure/etc.
a desk lamp can definitely hold a BR30 light bulb! I actually bought these before I bought the PAR38 lights and they work amazingly if you only have a few plants. The PAR38 is definitely gonna be better if you have tall/multiple plants, but they’re too heavy for desk lamps :(
