It might. That's an old and cheap piece of tech. I suspect it may have been filled with mist for this shot; I don't see how to mount it in the little terrarium. Looks pretty, though.
We bought a little fogger! It sits below the surface of the water, they’re really cool and simple to use. You can’t see it, but the water fills on the left behind the hardscape, goes up and pours into a little dish and then becomes the little waterfall you see. The fogger sits in the little dish!
I used a fogger and built a small tub with a fan blowing into the top to blow the fog into the tent

Oh I didn't see that sorry, I used an Ultrasonic Mistmaker
Thanks!
I've had to tone my expectations way down. I bought this mist maker also, and planned to hide it in the first stage with mist coming out of the engines. But those things are very messy. Water splashes everywhere and the mist was making everything wet so I think I'm gonna have to give up on that dream for now.
It may be possible to do it if the water and mist maker are outside the rocket in a covered jar with a hose and fan to push the mist up to the engines. But again, I think that would just make everything wet.
these can be substituted for a water pump, nozzles, and piping. just always get an extra 1-2 in case it burns out. https://www.amazon.com/AGPTEK-Aluminum-Fountain-Fishtank-Birdbath/dp/B00PAK245E/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=ultrasonic+mister&qid=1622474793&sr=8-7
There's always dry ice although I don't know the environmental effects, if any.
Edit: I just remembered a little fogger thing I used to have in a terrarium when I had dart frogs. Worked just with water.
Edit 2: found it
I can offer you the cheapest alternative here. AGPtEK Aluminum Mist Maker Fog Maker for Water Fountain Pond Rockery Fishtank Vase Birdbath https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PAK245E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dL60AbRBHMP2J
Although the reviews are mediocre, if you have the thing in a tub of water near the plant, it'll definitely do the trick. Kept my 3 x 5 x 8 foot hut at a constant humidity of 33 or higher and raised the humidity near my plant up to 65. Turns on and off automatically depending on if its submerged in water or not, and if you have an electric timer with a small water pump, you're set.
throw a niwa grow sensor inside the fridge! boom automated humidity, temps and vpd.

I'm using a small transducer that I grabbed off amazon for about 10 bucks.

It works by atomzing water, so the fog effect is in fact just a very fine mist. It's fine enough that for short runs there's hardly any residue, but running it for a while leaves the tiles slightly damp.
You can find little water-based foggers for a few bucks in many places.

That's just a simple Amazon search for "water mist". You put them in a little pot of water and plug them in and they use high-frequency sonic pulses to make fog. They aren't anywhere as efficient as "Halloween fog maker" type things but they do the job for small jobs.
Oh no I’m sorry. I’m saying should I run my usual DWC but add a mister instead of a drip ring? Was eyeing this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PAK245E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v61JFbEP40J0M
Maybe one for each bucket could be cool?
I'd love to describe it! Generally I use the same design as I've found it works best for what I've grown in the past (cannabis, tomato, basil, peas, bell pepper, lettuce) which is an adaptation of most "aero-bucket" designs. For mine it's very simple, food grade bucket (preferably black to limit algal growth, though I've never had issues with this before) and an inexpensive pond fogger. The pond fogger works awesome at vaporizing the water and I've found nutrient penetration to the roots is much more effective than a direct spray method. The fogger can be a little finnicky given it needs a semi exact water level to work well but if your bucket is sealed (food grade buckets use a great gasket for sealing) you'll be fine as the solution vapor will remain in the bucket with minimal losses. Ive also used a plastic pot upside-down to raise the fogger and allow me to fill more nutrient solution into the bucket. Links for my parts below!

> So I should only be using the light you recommended and natural light?
The reptisun 5.0 will take care of the UVb requirements. The next element is heat and light.
They need to self regualte their temps
So I use a old fashioned incandescent light bulb A19 these put out a good deal of dafe visible light, no UV and heat as a gentile warming gradient.
Of course natural sunlight is the best. But since you are up there in the NE and it's going to be COLD and dark you can't provide that to it for a few months.
So... you can get a few 100watt lights here that should take care of it. put that into a 10" reflective dome and you'll have both light and a nice heat gradient for it to move in and out of.

> The humidity lately has been dropping all the way down the zero so that's the only reason I've been misting with the spray bottle.
wow, well do what you can, I'm sure it's not zero inside the home. Usually someone cooking will raise the ambient humidity a few points.
If worse comes to worse you can have a bedroom with everything in it and keep that warmer and with higher humidity than the rest of the home.
The problem with spraying and such is that it can get into the eyes and cause problems (infections) A little inexpensive fogger
re: screen cages These are fine but I think the DYI cages are a little bit better sadly I think they're sold out of the 18x18x36 sizes. The 2x2x4 sizes are overkill.
As this is my first foray into plant growing, I just picked stuff essentially at random that looked right. :P
This is the ultrasonic fogger I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PAK245E/
For the first few weeks I only used water, but I switched recently to adding in a small bit of hydro nutrients: https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Gold-Hydroponics-Concentrate-Fertilizer/dp/B01LX3OXNW
The clay pellets suck, so I will advise strongly against them. I'm ordering some rockwool now, and hopefully I can get some more seeds going so I can try it all out.
