I just picked up this book from Esquire since it was only like $4 but the content and quality makes me feel like it was a worthwhile purchase.

Hmmm...Something like this or possibly this could work very well. I'm more partial to the latter. When you go to the hairstylist, ask for them to give you a "thinned out" cut. They should know what it means.
