I recommend cutting the leaves off the plant and getting these floral water tubes. These have really changed the game for me and my leaves last way long and don’t wilt as much and caterpillar is able to eat the whole leaf. I put one caterpillar in each jar and feed him one leaf at a time.

Greetings to Canada! I've just looked at the website for Montreal Comic Con and it looks like a really great event! The website is extremely well organized, and they outline many convention policies in great detail. This is wonderful - I hope you have a very special experience when you attend.
About your idea for your cosplay, it is very astute of you to consider this issue in advance. It's better to be prepared than to be disappointed when you go through the "weapons check" area. In spite of the fact that the tiny vials are not large weapons like they describe in detail on their cosplay weapons policy page, they are glass, so the fact that they could have "sharp edges" - which they mention and prohibit - if broken could mean maybe those vials are not allowed.
This is an incredibly good question. Perhaps other very experienced cosplayers are going to leave you an answer regarding using anything 'glass' in their costuming. But first, here is the entire page that describes ALL weapons policies. Your idea for the vials doesn't fit here necessarily, so my first suggestion is to use the contact info at the very end of the page and write in and ask them directly. Throughout the Montreal Comic Con website they encourage people to contact them with all questions if you can't find the exact info you need. So this is the cosplay "weapons" information contact e-mail:

Some cosplayers might still give you advice from their personal experience. But I wanted to suggest something else. Would you be interested in using plastic flower water vials that florists use? I looked up examples of some to show you what they are like. I do NOT mean that you should buy these - I just want you to see them, then it is quite possible that you can shop locally for some. Here's examples:

If you are filling them with the specific colored liquid for the 'virus juice', you might need some way to block the opening where the flower stem goes. Or you could also paint the inside of the tubes to create your 'look' and not even carry around fluid! But these suggestions are only some ideas to help you get started on working on Hunk's virus juice vials. If you would accept using plastic vial that you buy from somewhere near you, you will have just eliminated all worries about what happens once you get to the con.
no problem! flower tubes can solve the loose flower issue
