This method uses 12v to power the router and passes thru 12v poe.
Another way is to us a 48v PoE injector to power the router and then use a 48v to 12v PoE splitter like this:

You would want to get a PoE splitter, something like this. You provide PoE power into that device, and it splits it into ethernet and DC power for the camera. I can't guarantee that one specifically will work (it looks like it should), but that's just an example of what you'd want.
here's a .ca model that's cheaper (at least as it displays for ME...as amazon changes the visible prices based on region, and individually by customer - some things I can get cheaper than my sister and we live 3 doors down from one another - I think they give small discounts to customers that spend a lot)
It “may” auto-negotiate power, but 802.3af is output between 37-57v to be certain with absolute certainty I would buy this splitter that outputs 12v as the dataspec says it has a 12v dc input or POE.

A few important notes:
Depending on circuitry (e.g. if it has internal diodes to prevent backfeed) it may expect power to be sourced from the male/mod end RJ-45 in which case you’ll need two things; a keystone jack for your home run (female) to plug this into (with PoE) as well as a very short patch cable to plug this female RJ-45 breakout adapter into the female RJ-45 of the ONT.
This is a gigabit adapter. If you have or plan to have multi-gigabit service, this will be your bottleneck.

This guy looks like it would work with that same barrel adapter and is gigabit.
Op says they're using a 12v 2A power supply, so theoretically this would work. I'm not sure what the maximum power delivery is over poe though, so it might be pushing it.
AFAIK they shouldn’t be picky. I could see something like mismatching passive and active PoE causing an issue.
This is the one I use. My complaint is the plug is the wrong size on the barrel. I think it needs a 5.1x2.1. So I have to use an adapter, which just makes it uglier and less stable.

I'm using this splitter just for that.
You need a PoE splitter, Reolink sells their own version, but they are available just about anywhere.
I also have two E1 outdoors on PoE splitters with no problems, just make sure your PoE ethernet switch is capable of suppling the needed power/wattage.

PoE splitters (like these) are pretty small, and allow you to space out devices since you're only limited by the length of the ethernet run, rather than a power brick of some sort.
Just FYI the Nokia ONT they are using now is essentially just a media converter, with smarts in it to allow remote management for light levels/provisioning/etc.

I purchased a 2.1 splitter for my Bobcat miner. When I got a FreedomFi I tried out the splitter hoping it was the same. the 2.1 did not fit and was not about to force on the singe pin slot. Gave up after a reasonable level of force.

I was actually looking for these power specs to see if using a POE injector/splitter would be possible to solve this exact problem (I have a UPS at my router and a bunch of other stuff, but I was trying to avoid getting another one in the garage just for the ONT). It looks like the power draw is at the high end of doable over POE, you'd need to just find some adapters or make a cable to handle the 4.5mm barrel connector.
