Neither does mine but I started to find seeds under my hood and installed one of these. Haven't seen any seeds since but will have to wait until the fall to see if it actually works. My father also had an issue with insects and had to use insecticide on the cord.
Had this shit happen to me 3 times last fall. Ended up ordering this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LCKBGY8
Seems like it works as I haven't had any incidents since I got it though I can't say for sure it's not just coincidental.
Yikes. Don't breathe. and then install this.
Last summer/fall I had rats chew through wires in my engine 3 separate times. On the recommendation of my mechanic I got one of the ultrasonic devices from Amazon and so far haven't had any more problems. I can't say for sure it's the device doing its job or if it's just coincidence that they have not attacked my car again. This is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LCKBGY8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Have you considered one of those ultrasonic repellers that mount under your car hood? They seem to have good reviews on Amazon.
To be fair though, Olentangy Village is really tucked back into the woods, near a river, along one of the only strips of forest in the area....so to me, this kind of seems like living at the beach and complaining about sand. I know it's frustrating but I seriously doubt this is the property manager's first time at the rodeo. You'd likely be able to trap raccoons there for the rest of your life and still have them coming back. It might be better to look for another solution besides trapping them.
I’m gonna put my money on you having noticed someone’s mouse deterrent device in their car. one like this
I had this problem with my VW. I ended up just getting one of these ultrasonic repellant devices from Amazon and haven't had a problem since then. I've also read the mint infused spray may work, but have not tried it myself. I had to buy a wire from VW to fix what was chewed through. They sure are proud of their wires, $40 for a single 24" 20 gauge wire with "their" pins on each end. If I could find the part number for the pins, I would have rolled my own wire. The damage was too close to the end of the wire to splice it well.
I've heard way worse stories about Chicago rats that I have about Denver mice. ymmv I guess
Anyway, these things are your answer no matter where you live. They work like a charm
I haven't tried one of these myself, but I've used the indoor version to keep rodents out of a shed here dog food is stored.
I was shopping mesquite repellents the other day and saw these they say not for BEV but they might work.

I use one of these under the hood, but bear in mind it's a parasitic load on the 12V battery.

Have you looked it one of these? I was gonna buy one but I have yet to have this issue.
That link above covers I think 95-99% of the primary threats for entry for both 2nd & 3rd gen Prius - but you want to protect wires in your front hood area (using probably a combo of LED lighting, rat tape, and rat spray - see on Amazon b/c those are still soy based and significant numbers of Toyota and by extension, Prius owners, have had their electrical systems ruined costing several thousands of dollars - now this is probably unlikely to happen especially using a multifaceted approach above, but the more protection the better.
> y niche is traveling to sports events, so I'm inevitably going to need to be stealth parking. Do you have tips for window covers? I have a 2015 not sure what model it is and dont know how to find out as it's not on my title or registration.
If it's leather it's a Prius Four, if it's not it's a Prius 2-3. That should help figure it out.

And yes, if you're up to it a YouTube video (post it in this subreddit, PriusChat, and /r/vandwellers imo - there would be a huge amount of interest for it!.

Here's also a summary by someone on the major areas:

But here are all the ones I've read about since first joining Priuschat. Screening Cabin Ingress Points (great, but only covers each specific ingress points, can't miss any, only excludes access to the cabin area itself, most of engine compartment + mechanicals still exposed) hatch area (2 vented openings) engine air intake (intake funnel, cloth vents) engine compartment, firewall (7 openings) cabin air intake (unknown # openings, possible diffs between Gen II and Gen III?) Odor deterrents (only a deterrent, can cover engine bay if applied there, odor can get into cabin) mothballs (mixed reports of effectiveness, benzene odor of mothballs fades, seems like you need to break the mothball crystals in order to get it to release more odor after a while) peppermint oil (questionable effectiveness, I've tried these with rodents in homes, never seemed effective, wears off) Transtar Amber Rustproofing spray (Rude person's cites using this to prevent corrosion in the engine bay and undercarriage areas and speculated the smell+texture may additionally deter rodents as well) Ultrasonic deterrents (only a deterrent, similar to odors with added disadvantage of needing power source, reports of mixed or limited effectiveness, not only for rodents but pests in general such as in homes) Rodent Deterrent Tape/Tubing (deters chewing on wiring, this tape has capsaicin, citrus, or similar irritants embedded in it in high enough concentration that they really won't like it (products share theme of warning that contact may irritate skin/eyes), do they have to bite it to learn that it tastes terrible?)

Note: In the fuse box under the hood there is a constant 12V signal coming from the 12V battery that's around the right rear tail light. You could wire 2 of those ultrasonic deterrant devices to the same 12V battery this way & it also has strobe light effect.
Here's another guide that gives a general overview of the mouse problem that's specifically plaguing Toyotas & particularly the Prius: https://www.howtopreventratsfromeatingcarwires.com/2017/02/10/does-your-car-have-soy-based-wiring/ with some additional tips.
Overall, is this overkill? I think not - YouTube, Google searches, & forums are plastered with rodent infestations into Priuses more than other types of cars. It may not happen to your car per se depending on where you live/garaged/etc., but there is a good to decent chance that the problem can happen - it's more a matter of when not if for many people (unlike say a check engine light that doesn't cause any real issues for tens of thousands of miles). If you have leatherette (Softex) seating - rodents have gotten into the seats and chewed it up too - the Softex option became standard on Prius 4 in 2013+ I believe & the 2009-2012 had the older leather seats BUT don't quote me on that.
Also - if you're going to do a fridge in the Prius, I would store all foods in there – anything that smells in the open can attract rodents - try not to eat in the Prius. Also realize that when the Prius front hood area is warm - that vermin will like to sleep in it for warmth.
