Wanted to drop back in to thank you for this tip.
I too am short of space, and also have a cat so the firmly sealed shotgun shell tubs looked ideal.
I bought a tub, and the fit is absolutely spot on. I can turn it upside down and no bottles move. Its easy to access when needed, and secure when not. Bang on, good show, thanks again!
I've been using this box advertised as being for shotgun shells, 18650s fit a bit loosely but it works well. this specific one is designed for 10 or 12 gauge 3.5" long shells. A box for 3" 12ga shells would give an even nicer fit, with the taller box the cells seem like they could almost fall out of the organizing section and get jumbled up, because the "walls" only go about halfway up.
TL;DR look for shotshell boxes on amazon, should give you more options
I've tried MNKEs, but haven't used them long term to have credible experience. I know they don't have as much mah as the INRs though.
The case is a shotgun shellbox
A shotshell box will work for 18650s.
18650s fit easily in these shotshell cases. 21700s would probably fit snugly in there too.
I got mine on Amazon - 25 samples and 50 samples.
If you find something else that works well, please post pictures! I'd love to know what my other options are :)
Ammo box is the way to go. This would work for 5mL decants and possibly the larger spray atomizers that have the colored plastic tube and cap.

I'm traveling for a few months right now - so I just had to do the same :)
I think the truly ideal solution are ink pellets. There're several vintage pens with a compartment for pellets, then you toss one in the body & fill with water, it dissolves & you have ink. But I've not found anyone currently manufacturing the pellets :(
For my dip pens, I bring a little vial of walnut ink crystals and some gum arabic powder -- but that's not safe for fountain pens for a couple reasons.
Those boxes are $5, hold 25 batteries and have convenient flip-top lids, but I get your point, I 3D-print accessories and fitted organizer boxes all the time, if not as smooth as yours.
This shotgun cartridge box is excellent for 18650s:
Ok, here is it. It’s an ammo box.

I have some 25% cotton envelopes and use a Q tip to swab the ink on the envelope. I barely put ink on the Q tip to swab. I arrange by color groups and add to them when I get a new sample. I order from Anderson or Goulet pens. I keep my samples in this. - You can buy them off Amazon - price has doubled to $10 in the past 6 months. Link
As far as pens, I buy these to test out the inks before loading my good pens
I bought this one from Amazon for my sample vials (purchased from Goulet) and it's perfect.
Pelican is great, but you could also get this for $5, and it would work just as well.
