I have some issues with my wrists & forearms, and a clamp-on desk lamp where I could use this. Seems like a suitable place to start.
I got one of these, I’m liking it so far: Red Light Therapy Bulb by Hooga. Power Cord Included. Red 660nm Near Infrared 850nm. 12 LEDs. High Irradiance, Combo Treatment for Skin, Pain Relief, Anti Aging, Muscle Recovery, Performance. HG24. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07TK2LZH3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NQXTHXEQY9Z9BK66XMPJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
>stay away from using bulbs that include wavelengths in the infrared spectrum -- they build more heat which can cause the fluids in your eye to expand and build pressure in your eye [bad].
Even with eye protection and staying about a foot away from the bulb? Sorry if this is a silly question. I had been looking around for a decently priced red light bulb that didn't break the bank, but was also the correct wavelength. I settled on this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TK2LZH3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details after reading this https://gembared.com/blogs/musings/the-best-red-light-therapy-bulbs-on-amazon-ultimate-review
It's near infrared, so not technically infrared spectrum.
In addition to running heat on max in my arm, I have a cheap red light therapy light next to my weight stack. In between sets I hold it up to the muscles worked.

In addition to fasting, red light therapy (while it sounds stupid) has a lot of studies that show it helps a great deal in cell rejuvenation, including rebuilding skin. You can buy a cheap one off of Amazon (e.g. something like this https://www.amazon.com/Therapy-Device-Infrared-Recovery-Performance/dp/B07TK2LZH3 ) and try it for 20 minutes a day.
