It's all calories. That's the easy part, though. The hardest part is your mental game.
Download Chronometer, it's a free calorie tracking app.

Buy this Cognitive Behavioral Therapy workbook, and do a few pages a day. Also, I recommend journalling when you feel like binge eating. Write down what you're thinking about. What you feel. You have to figure out why you're eating before you can address it.

Good luck, my friend.
Maybe a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) workbook would be useful - CBT helps you change your thinking and behaviour.
I haven’t read any myself but this one looks quite good: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CBT-Workbook-Mental-Health-Evidence-Based/dp/1647398053/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3SFYK1V0G56PZ&keywords=cbt+workbook&qid=1655175700&sprefix=cbt+workbook+%2Caps%2C90&sr=8-3.
Hope this helps :)
I feel the exact same way. I've only recently truly realized that I have these thoughts and so much more. It's affected my whole life so much more than I knew. Because of that, I shared it with my wife (who's a therapist) and she recommended CBT therapy.
It's not easy to bring up all these feelings but it's the only way to heal and I commend you for admitting it. Check out this CBT workbook. It's really starting to help me, you won't regret it.

I also have a good bit of friends & family who have it so I’ll talk to them and ask how they deal with certain issues too

Hey there! I had written up a response but I accidentally closed reddit while gather some resources, haha. Anyway, I wanted to offer some things that helped me until I could access therapy. There are several workbooks on Amazon that help you learn how to process your thoughts and recognize your emotions or negative self-talk.
I recommend CBT workbooks like this. It's one my therapist recommended to me personally and it's been really helpful! I also have this PDF that talks about several common unhelpful thinking patterns and how to reframe those thoughts when you notice them. Also, I highly recommend this website because they have tons of exercises and worksheets you can print out and use on your own! It's meant to help therapists have good activities for their clients, but honestly... stuff like this shouldn't be monetized anyway. There is a free trial that allows you to download up to 5 pdfs, and it's $99/year for unlimited downloads. I'm not advocated for no therapy ever, but if you're in a pinch and need help this may get you started until you can find a professional that can help you start processing.
The paralysis around school and workload are honestly horrific for me. It stems from 10 years of struggling in school, so I am now constantly behind on lectures and it's just a negative cycle.
I read somewhere in the r/adhd subreddit that CBT (form of therapy) is great for ADHD. I bought a CBT workbook because that's more affordable than going into therapy. I started doing it only in the last week and oh my goodness, the level of fear I had around lectures has already started going down. The fear is still there, but even working through some of it has made me more relaxed. I'd recommend this trying this out. Maybe it's just placebo effect for me but I am hopeful that that isn't the case.
I've only started the book, so I am excited to keep going with it!
This is the one I am using!
