Flight simulator is going to generally prefer a yoke and throttle. SC generally prefer at least 1 stick and throttle or 2 sticks.
I wonder if you could get a foldable gear mount like this:

It might be big enough to hold stick, yoke and throttle while becoming small enough to stash under a bed or desk?
I've always wanted to use my yoke to drive an 890.
Who makes that radio controller? Is that saitek, or a different manufacturer?
Also, I use one of these to keep my flightsim stuff out of the way while I space sim, but I've always wanted a dedicated desk for the saitek gear.
I use a version of thos with only my stick attached to it with velcro to the right of my desk. My throttle sits on my desk as the added height doesn't bother me. What i like about this is that it can be folded up and stored, used in front of the TV as well and it can hold pedals as well https://www.amazon.com/Wheel-Stand-Pro-Support-included/dp/B00DIQ3168/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1492453279&sr=8-7&keywords=wheel+stand+pro
Works well enough but was expensive. Most annoying thing is you're more or less forced to put your radio stack on the wrong side.

Saitek Wheel Stand Pro V2, I bought the V1 version for $50 used a few years ago...
It's pretty robust, you can have a dogfight without it moving, really adjustable to your body size, but you'll need to find a way to lock your chair to avoid sliding away the pedals if you have wheels :-D
Yeah I kinda' gave up trying to make the cables pretty. The HOTAS stands are 2 x Wheel Stand Pro. They're... okay. Pricey for what they are... and the stands get in the way of my chair, which is annoying.
I wish I'd bought two of these VPC Desk Mounts, with the corresponding throttle and joystick mounting plates. They look a lot slicker.
