It is tall enough for him and very sturdy. It's also not terribly ugly like many scratchers are! I do have some of those cardboard floor scratchers around too to give him some variety

my 12wk old (now 13wk) kitten absolutely loves this stand, she scratches on all the posts and can also climb it all the way up. a little pricey but been a good investment for me!

Depends on the size of your bsh I guess. Mine is tiny - 3kg/7lbs but some of the monsters I see on here clearly aren't! She rather likes the plant dishes you can buy for water at least. Doesn't like metal dishes for whatever reason and wasn't keen on the angled bowls. My cats don’t like being brushed either, but these gloves mean you can just stroke them and it does the job.

I bought one of these two weeks ago. We are still dialing it in for the amount she needs/wants. It drops about 2 tablespoons per 1 unit. You can pick how many units she gets at what time of day. You can do that up to 6xs a day. It’ll let you make that as complex or simple as you like.

Right now I’m doing 2 units at 8am, 1 noon, and 1 at 9pm. I’m feeding her a wet food closer to our dinner time. We adopted her 2 weeks ago so we are both learning a feeding schedule. My cats LOVE the fancy deer hair mice. These things. They go absolutely NUTS for them. And crinkles! I recommend getting a pack of a bunch of cheap toys and seeing what they gravitate towards, and then you can refine.
