While this cannot be done with Pi-hole, it can be done with Acrylic DNS Proxy (Windows) by using asterisks around the string, and is how I block everything *.ru and *.cn

Use Router Blocking, configure once use on all connected devices :>
Use DNS software like Acrylic DNS, Technitium DNS, etc, for laptop, since u will be connecting to other routers without block rules.
