You could use HostsMan instead. It's a Windows software which adds and updates URLs of known advertisers/trackers/malware etc. to the hosts file from different sources of your choice.

I'm using the free trial and just checked Hulu and both shows didn't show a commercial in the beginning, and I skipped through the episode past the dots without commercials.
