Its twitchier than Mario. If you want a Mario-like game on PC you should probably take a look at 8-bit boy if you dont necessairly want it to be on steam Alex Allegator 4 is a classic in freeware plarformers. The downloadable version (which is the regular one , the browser version is a fan-made project) has a color mod , if you are not into the gameboy aesthetic.
