I am also a beginner in the field of video editing. At first I used Windows Movie Maker, which often crashed (my computer is Windows 10). Then I tried (ApowerEdit)[https://www.apowersoft.com/video-editor]. It is also super easy to use. So far so good. I like its free elements. But maybe I will try Adobe Premiere in the future.

WMM, and Apoweredit are easy to use. They are for beginners. Maybe you can start from them. iMovie is also easy to use, but it's for Mac. There is a long way to go before you become a professional in the field of video editing. Good luck.
