I am a big fan of http://www.arXshare.com. It is simple as Wordpress - you can install it on any Web server with PHP support within minutes.
Their Windows client is very fast and easy to use - it has a wizard that helps you to configure the system. I had the chance to also look at their iPhone app, which is currently beta.

arXshare [You can sync as much as you want]
It is a self-hosted solution and is very easy to install on any Web server with PHP. Furthermore it does end-to-end encryption!
