Je vais essayer un encodage uniquement en webm, mes vidéos ne sont accessibles qu'au travers un site web.Je peux tester sur pleins de plateformes: Différentes versions de windows (même XP lol) , différentes version d'android sur tablette/smartphone (même sur du matos exotique type Klipad), macOS et ubuntu/mint, un iphone 3GS etc etc.

Pour info mon site tourne sur cumulusclip , le script est super léger donc très performent et rapide à la navigation et à l'affichage des vidéos, c'est très plaisant d'accéder instantanément à ses vidéos comparé à youtube.

Have a lok at http://cumulusclips.org or http://cumulusclips.org You should be able to get either working on an average VPS at about £20 a month but it would proabaly only support you and a few friends. You could scale up the VPS or even to a dedicated sever but I cant give any meaingful guide on what price/user would look like.

It would be hard to run as somthing seriouse as proper relaibiility,scaling on multiple servers and dealing with attackers are all hard problems but eunning somthing for a small group of poeple should be possible and fun.
