What is the crowd's opinion of EditPlus?

I use Dreamweaver and stay in the "Code View" state as well. I've just got used to the way Dreamweaver works, the way it auto-completes and the Syntax Highlighting. I've tried using other editors, but I guess I'm set in my ways of how I want the editor to act.

Other developers here use Notepad++ as well as EditPlus.

Eh, I just prefer editors/IDE's which allow me to run the current file; pretty much all of them have a way to call an external tool and display the results in a built-in console window. Mine isn't even a darling editor that's ever talked about here (Edit+), but it's trivial to set it up so that when I hit F4 it runs against PHP 5.4, F5 runs 5.5, etc., allowing me to test against multiple versions within seconds.

Just seems like a whole lot more trouble setting up a webpage just for testing, because surely you're not going to actually use it as an editor....right?

I used to use EditPlus which is better than Notepad++ just for the table creation part. (this is shareware, so it does cost money - $35)

After that, probably Bluefish.
