We have recently introduced some information screens powered by raspberry PI's in the factory. I knew one of the developers that works on the PiNet project https://github.com/PiNet/PiNet

He modified the standard PiNet server for us and created a new plugin http://pinet.org.uk/articles/plugins/pinet-screens.html It automatically keeps the PI to todate.

or you can use http://www.epoptes.org/ which is a standalone remote control application for them, and manually update them.
