Do you use Google Play or F-Droid? I know that some people are looking to get away from Google products, but if anyone is just starting / trying to minimize Google use and is still using Google Play, there are some IP / VPN apps on there - ones that'll help you go anonymous and assign you a decoy IP address. (Hideman VPN can be used on computer & on mobile - not a Google Play link, by the way.)

I use Hideman to get aroudn the blackout on MLB.tv and watch the games on my computer, or hook my laptop up to my TV. It's $15 for 60 days, but it's worked well so far.

MLB.tv on the other hand... ugh.
