Update:

Stowe - $4 discount from <strong>stowe.com</strong>

Hunter - $16 discount from <strong>Hunter.com</strong>

Haven't been able to book any others--still getting errors, but I can add as I go along to create a list for anyone that is debating skipping the hassle of the constant errors for the SWAF tix if the discount isn't big enough.

This might help. Would be worth a try. There is a free program from lockhunter.com. I know this isn't your issue, but under the other icon there is the option to delete the folder/file at the next reboot.

It just might take care of it for you.

Thanks! I actually figured this out without calling support. Here are the steps.

  1. Just install the fans and add them to HomeKit. You don't need the Hunter app for this portion but you will need it.
  2. Download and install the Hunter app AND the Insignia app (it's Best Buy's app, dunno why you need it but you do).
  3. Open the hunter app and even if you already have an account at hunter.com just ignore the log in and hit the middle option (something like continue with less features)
  4. You should see your Home listed, navigate to one of the fans and click the gear icon
  5. The top menu option is something similar to add additional features (something like that, sorry should have grabbed screen captures)
  6. It will ask you to either sign up or enter your credentials. Just create a new account, even if you have one already
  7. You will get an automated email with a verify email link. This link will not work in any browser on any computer. I tried them all. In safari you will see that it is actually a link to an application and not a web link. Turns out this calls the Insignia application (used for Best Buy's smart home switches, which i actually have). I just checked my gmail on my iPhone's mail app and clicked the verify email button. Once you click the link it will ask you if it is ok to launch the insignia app, if you accept it will confirm your email and off you go.
  8. Go back to the Hunter app and log in....
  9. Enjoy! and hope like hell you never have to go through this again.
