Kettle is a GPL ETL (Extraction Transformation Load) Tool in which you can graphically design such jobs. It's a very smart and mighty tool, I really recommend it even if the learning curve may be a bit steep.
Once you have the job (result of all this clickedy-magic is an XML file), you can run it via Cron or use their BI Platform server which is also supposed to have scheduling and certainly would have a nice UI for it - but I always used cron so I can't say for sure.
