Another vote for kanban here. After suggesting to my team that we look for something scrum-ish to manage our backlog of tasks, we fired up kanbanflow and haven't looked back. It is an external tool so one of these days we'll investigate switching to something internally hosted, possibly to tie in with our gitlab server (e.g. http://kanban.leanlabs.io/).
It's also good if you have regular performance reviews - you can point to kanban and say "in the last <time period> I achieved <list of achievements>, more pay thanks"
