I'm not using the GUI via Remote Desktop Connection anymore. I am using PuTTY to SSH into the server which only shows the command-line (no GUI). Was just wondering if simply closing Remote Desktop Connection is the same thing as getting rid of the GUI or whether I need to remove something. I used LXDE to set up a GUI.
I suppose I can do:
sudo apt purge --remove lxde*; sudo apt autoremove -y ...in case closing Remote Desktop Connection isn't enough.
