What is the crowd's opinion of MacPorts?

I use Billings to track and bill my time. I've never used Project Hamster, and looking at the screenshots Billings may be overkill. But still worth a shot.

Also, if you haven't already, check out MacPorts. You'll need Xcode installed (its on your installation DVD)

Installing pygame on mac was pretty easy (I've done it on my iMac, and my MacBook Pro)

go to macports and install MacPorts.

port install py27-game.

So far everything has worked, png support, sound, etc.
