What is the crowd's opinion of Maxthon Nitro?

Heck, even the new guy missing tons of features gets it right!

Talking about Maxthon Nitro. Boasts speed, but lacks tons of features, not even great keyboard shortcuts. Still, even THEY get HTML5 right!

Or light. Google lightweight web browsers. In general what you'll find will be adaptions of chrome, Firefox or at least the stuff under the hood of those browsers.

I suspect if you search for minimal /lightweight browsers you'll eventually find one that suits you.

If you didn't, and were dead set on implementing your own, you'd have your work cut out for you. However, it would be much easier than implementing a browser from scratch -- you'd probably fork Firefox or chromium, or re-use some of their fundamental components like webkit or gecko.

If you're interested, I have what I believe is the most exhaustive list of web browsers (and applications that can be used as web browsers) in a text file on my Dropbox. There aren't a lot of material browsers out there right now, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean there isn't something else that might be more your speed.

Oh, there's also Maxthon Nitro but it actually intentionally doesn't support extensions.
