What is the crowd's opinion of MLCAD?

There is a site called Brick Commander where there are quite a few different Lego Mechs. There is instructions on how to build the Mechs but it does require a program called MLCad. Tho the site hasn't been updated in a long time.

scherzi a parte, LDraw e' piu' basso livello, ci sono diversi strumenti da usare in contemporanea e in generale e' piu' bruttino, senza contare il problema della disponibilita' dei pezzi (tipo mancano tutti i piu' recenti). Io come editor usavo mlcad che non e' male tutto sommato, hai 4 viste (i tre lati piu' una vista orientabile a piacere), ma non hai lo snap automatico dei pezzi e tutte quelle robe li. In generale si parla di software vecchi di vent'anni. Io ho anche collaborato col progetto (sono l'autore di brigl, un visualizzatore online di modelli ldraw con webgl). Sono entrato anche un po' in polemica perche' il progetto LDraw ha piu' burocrazia dell'italia (tipo sono una manciata di sviluppatori e hanno uno Steering Committee e uno Standards Committee) e con l'innovazione sono fermi appunto a 20 anni fa, senza alcuna intenzione di aggiornare le specifiche etc.

EDIT: ci sono stati alcuni aggiornamenti dall'anno scorso su LDD, magari non va perche' non e' riuscito ad autoaggiornarsi da dentro wine..
