I lolled when I came across that. Interesting read, thanks. Might even be r/YSK-worthy.
Opera is an internet browser (like Mozilla's Firefox) that works through a set of proxies. I'm not sure how anonymous it is but it is a step in the right direction for laypeople like me that aren't 100% sure how to configure tor and similar things. They have 2 email clients, one of which is myopera. I'd guess that it can't be worse than gmail though.
