Actually following Nike's scathing remarks I decided to quit. I could start it back up again if you're interested. What I had figured out was the "plan" in skeleton format was

• Database of all skills, their coefficients, timing, attributes (vulnerability etc).
• Creating a rotation based on skill inputted by the player, then figuring out the damage done piece by piece based on probability of procs etc and then dividing by the time of the rotation to get the "DPS"
• Saving this "build/rotation" and placing it on the "leaderboards" of DPS
• Combining different "leaderboard" builds and combining them to find out the combined DPS

In my own projects I got a base calculator figured out. Which I'll upload as a zip file for you to check out when I get to my comp (requires a personal PHP server to run). It's very bare bones, but I have been using it to calculate if I'm even getting the right numbers, and it seems to be doing quite grand in that sense. Some parts of this could be used if we flesh out the database system and start populating the calculator with it.

This was what I did that weekend, then decided to stop. I figured no one really gives a shit anyways.

Edit: gw2.zip (all the files that are used, very simple, can be read before runnign all that jazz, might have to re-size your browser to make the elements fit nicely haha, the numbers update when the focus on the input box is lost and damage modifiers are space delimited numbers so you don't have to do the maths yourself)

Usually, you can treat them as common vegetables to cook. But you have to soak them in water for some hours before cooking.
