Check out the official Android Developer site. They have so many good tutorials on how to get started programming for Android, and VERY extensive documentation of Android APIs. I just published my first app yesterday after teaching myself mostly from information off that site.
Also, Stack Overflow is a great place for questions/answers related to programming.
