You can use the adblock plus easylist TPL if your Internet explorer is IE9 or higher. http://www.quero.at/adblock_ie_tpl.php

Basically it's intended for privacy, but it can double as an adblocker as far as I know.

Edit: The Quero one should work, I have no idea if the easylist one still works.

I use RES on chrome also but use IE for somethings, so I enable the below on IE and it works very well. http://www.quero.at/adblock_ie_tpl.php
