I'm not sure why you said this. RBC has already updated its mobile app to include NFC payments for both debit and credit cards. It's only a matter of time until the other banks follow. It's not even locked down to specific phones or carriers, it's available on any 4.4+ device. I believe you have to be not rooted, but I think there are workarounds for that too.

OPs not even in a position to manage his own ETFs and FYI theres good money to be made in both. And yes, 4.6% is the posted rate. Even if he found a discounted rate he'd still be no where closer to 1500$ as you suggested. I might also add, OP hasn't a chance in hell to get approved anyways so who cares.
