I have been trying to do a schematic of your description: http://www.schematics.com/project/usb-type-c-to-micro-b-28065/ (sorry, I'm not very good at doing those...) using these description: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_Type-C#Cable_wiring and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#Mini_and_micro_connectors

One thing I'm not completely sure about: You talk about CC1 and CC2, but the USB C description on wikipedia denotes the B5 as Vconn, is this just for a fully USB 3.1 connector?

Also Pin 4 on Micro-B should not be connected as the connector is a "device" and not a "host", right?

If my schematic is even readable, does that look correct?

If it's unreadable, this is what I did:

Left: Type C, Right: Micro-B

(A4, B4, A9, B9) -> Pin 1 (5V)

(A7, B7) -> Pin 2 (D-)

(A6, B6) -> Pin 3 (D+)

Pin 4: Not connected

(A1, B1, A12, B12) -> Pin 5 (GND)

SHIELD -> SHIELD

Left: Type C, Middle: Resistor, Right: Type C (GND)

A5 -> (5.1K Ohm) -> (A1, B1, A12, B12)

B5 -> (5.1K Ohm) -> (A1, B1, A12, B12)
