No, no, there's a feature called "Hey Siri" that lets the owner's voice activate it touch free.

It absolutely is on call all the time. I also specified that the "Hey Siri" feature is what I was referring to. It's super cool to be able to set a timer with hands free while baking so you don't have to wash your hands again. :)
That's not what anyone, Apple included, will call Siri.
