I use Astaro which is now Sophos Unified. You can use it as SOCKS proxy with LDAP authentication, no authentication or transparent proxy to see http(s) traffic.

Also has packet filtering, mail filtering, VPN and more depending on what you license.

Open Source version is also good for a home firewall
