What is the crowd's opinion of Sound Lock?

I use this for my computer, basically puts a cap on how loud something can get.

I'm probably too late to this thread, but I use an application called Sound Lock to set a max volume. You turn up the volume until the quiet dialogue is fully audible, then use Sound Lock to prevent it from getting any louder. Explosions and music are capped at the dialogue volume.
