I use TopTracker to track my sessions. It's a free downloadable tool for freelancers to keep track of hourly or minute-by-minute work that syncs your hours to your profile. I've been using it over two years, it's been great, no spreadsheet keeping. Since it isn't a browser extension, and you can change the settings so that it does not take screenshots of your desktop, it shouldn't be against the NDA.

Thanks for the reply, when you mention Too tracker do you mean Top tracker from TopTal ? This one looks very promising indeed. They mention no fees as long as you handle all payments through Payoneer.

I'm not sure about an extension in AE but I use this tool for managing my freelance projects, you can log projects and track how much time has been spent on specific tasks, you can also accompany it with periodic automatic screenshots.

Very handy for freelancers to account for their tasks performed when on an hourly rate.

Yo estoy parecido a vos, estoy viendo de empezar una unipersonal, no estoy muy informado al respecto todavia.
Pero en cuanto a medios de pago, yo uso Payoneer, es sencillo de configurar y los fees no son tan zarpados. Herramientas podes usar algun time tracker por la vuelta, y facturás a tu cliente en base a eso. Hay uno gratuito que es básico pero cumple su función, tenés auditorías y la posibilidad de sacar screenshots de tu máquina cada x tiempo (lo cual puede garantizar seguridad a tu cliente en caso de que no haya mucha confianza).
