Yes, some people would like this but there's much more important issues to fix right now than adding something like this which you could easily get with a 3rd party tool like https://github.com/zhongyang219/TrafficMonitor.

I really like traffic monitor, it has a taskbar menu option I have it to the left of my taskbar but it's on the right by default

Use TrafficMonitor, latest version has taskbar support on Windows 11, just don't hide the notification icon otherwise you'll have to edit the config file to show it again, because rightclicking on it on the taskbar doesn't work yet.

Can you try TrafficMonitor? The way it show on taskbar is different than NetworkSpeedMonitor, maybe it will work. I didn't install W11 so I can't test.
