I kinda like Trigger Rally. The physics is unrealistic. But, it does make the game interesting. It's open source. Plenty of stuff you can add to make the game even more interesting. http://trigger-rally.sourceforge.net/reference/

That's just the web version. I play the download version on my Linux machine. Then you can use many cars. Including mod cars online. http://trigger-rally.sourceforge.net/ this link also has a Windows version.

It's also in any Linux repositories.
