What is the crowd's opinion of Tuleap?

I'm using Tuleap tool. It's a free open source tool both for Scrum and kanban boards. It supports ticket tracking as well where each individual can enter work in hours or in points. https://www.tuleap.org/features#feature-agile

In terms of self-hosted solutions, does anyone here have any anecdotal experience with Tuleap? I'll be starting an evaluation myself within the next couple of days, but just wondered if someone has insights to share.

Tuleap developer there. I cannot comment about good or bad things (as obviously, everything is perfect :D) but I can give some advises regarding your points:

• For workflow & set-up: take sometime to familiarize yourself with the tool, Tuleap doesn't enforce a particular workflow or way of working. This is great because your are not limited but it means that you will have to do a bit of fiddling/configuration to get the right configuration / templates according to what you want to do (services to activate, tracker setup & worfklows, etc).
• In term of robustness, the platform is able to handle hundred of projects and users on any decent VM you will throw at it. Largest deployment so far have 5000 projects, 30k users for instance. We really care about the upgrades and the update mechanism is generally just 2 commands and 1mn downtime from time to time.
• Finally, Tuleap is really able to address needs of all people involved in a project. It might be a little bit rough for executives ATM but this is a thing we're gonna work on this year.
