If you have an iPhone, you can use the free iMovie app it comes with to add text. It’s not hard, although it will be easier to use a computer than a phone for editing.

On your PC, I recommend using the software Typito for what you’re trying to do. It actually is made pretty much for the type of editing you’re wanting to do, so it could be better than iMovie in this case. It’s also free.

Here’s what you do: - summon the Reddit video downloader bot and download the video (looks like someone already did this on this post so you can just download) - import the footage into your editing software - add the text you want, and make sure the text moves around where you want it to during the video - export the video with text so that it’s a compatible format for Reddit. MP4 files are almost always the right format to use, or you can make it into a gif if you don’t want sound. - import the video to Reddit!
