In Double Commander go to CONFIGURATION->OPTIONS->COLORS.
You're welcome.
If you are too lazy to setup own colors, use Unread Commander from https://x-diesel.com/, it can setup themes for you but wants to register/call back home monthly, some features like dir sync requires (free) registration.
