The best stack for developing PHP applications under M$ Windows is WinNMP https://sourceforge.net/projects/wtnmp/ It is based on Nginx, it is a lighter alternative to XAMPP and WAMP, with Composer, Adminer, LetsEncrypt certificates, WinSCP, multiple PHP versions, projects and virtual servers.
